No two ways about it, our bed is the preferred spot in the house. Dirty paws messing up the comforter. Stray dog hairs on my pillow. Our bed just isn't big enough for husband, wife, spaniel and golden retriever. So what is the solution?

Kelly has a nice, cushiony bed she loves. But Brooks had a lumpy old pillow. Since he's a senior, I thought it was time for something special.
I found just what we needed at The Uncommon Dog.
I must say I'm impressed with the products on this site. Mostly dog beds, dog crates, dog carries and strollers, with other items such as dog houses and travel supplies too. I looked through the offerings-- more than 400 different dog beds alone! What I liked best was the way you can search the site: by size, color, shape, fabric, brand, price...you name it.
We decided that Brooks should have an orthopedic bed. We selected the Carolina Pet Company luxury pillow top mattress bed. This bed has a 4 inch thick foam base with a tufted pillow top above, all covered in a soft, zippered removable cover. The bed comes in chocolate, caramel, earth red and sage, and in 3 different sizes.
Once we ordered we were sent a tracking number, and the bed arrived in only 3 days! It was packaged in a sturdy box and the bed looked even better than we'd imagined. This bed is really thick and comfortable, and holds its shape.
Best of all, Brooks loves the bed. I feel better that his old bones and joints are cushioned and that he has a comfortable place of his own to sleep.
